Wedding Party
Introducing the wonderful friends and family who have supported us as we enter into this new season of life.
Ellis Parker
Ellis is Eva’s younger sister. Eva was an only child for five-and-a-half years, so when Ellis was born in September 2004, Eva was a little hesitant at first. Approximately one week after Ellis was born, Eva realized she was a very cute baby and became irreversibly obsessed with her. 22 years later, this hasn’t really changed — Ellis is still very cute, and Eva is still obsessed with her.
Maid of Honor
Maid of Honor
Lillian Weaver
Eva and Lillian met in 2003 when the Parker family moved around the corner from the Weaver family. They both went to preschool at the Weekday School, then went on to attend Blankner School together from K-8. In first grade, Eva asked Lillian “if she wanted to be best friends." Lillian said yes, and they haven’t looked back since.
Lindsay Price
Eva met Lindsay on a bus ride to a field trip at the Shakespeare Center in ninth grade, where they bonded over a shared sense of humor. After this encounter, the two knew they would be friends for a long time. Lindsay and Eva were yearbook editors in senior year of high school, and their friendship has only gotten sweeter and richer in adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Hannah Jo was Eva’s first friend at Orangewood. They met in fifth period biology and became lab partners. Eva’s earliest memory of Hannah involves their shared disgust over dissecting a piglet for the class. After remaining close friends for all of high school, the two went on to attend Samford University together. Nowadays, Hannah and Eva make each other laugh almost every single day.
Bridesmaid
Hannah Jo Groves
Katie and Eva spent their college summers working at Camp Greystone. They met in 2018 but truly bonded in August 2019 when they were co-counselors of Cabin 12 together. They got into some pretty fun hijinks and shenanigans that summer and thought it might be fun to be roommates one day. Six years later, they both ended up moving to Nashville for their jobs and decided to live together. They still get into hijinks and shenanigans.
Bridesmaid
Katie Ball
Eva and Margaret met in summer 2018 during Eva’s first summer as a counselor at Camp Greystone. In summer 2019, they spent their off-days together binge-watching season 3 of Stranger Things and have shared a similar affinity for pop culture ever since. Eva coerced Margaret into becoming a fan of The 1975, and Margaret has made Eva a bona-fide Bleachers fan. Margaret also lives in Nashville, and the two regularly find themselves together at concerts, church, and really yummy restaurants.
Bridesmaid
Margaret Stacy
Maggie is engaged to Chase, Scott’s twin brother. Eva and Maggie first met in 2020, shortly after Eva and Scott began dating, but their friendship blossomed on the Morell family trip to Hawaii in 2021. Maggie and Chase live in Tampa with their two puppies, Maple and Oliver, and Eva loves going to visit. Eva and Maggie feel more like besties than sisters-in-law but consider it a stroke of luck that they get to be both.
Bridesmaid
Maggie Sills
Chase Morell
Chase is Scott’s twin brother. Inseparable for most of their lives, and sharing nearly everything growing up, Chase knew better than anyone how to bring out the best in Scott. They remain close and Eva and Scott love visiting him and Maggie in Tampa. Scott loves hearing Chase’s next entrepreneurial pitch, no matter how esoteric it may initially seem.
Best Man
Groomsman
Chase Gwynn
Chase and Scott initially met in fourth grade, when Scott was assigned to welcome Chase to Orangewood. They initially became friends over their shared love of soccer, something that has continued into their adult lives. Scott loves following Chase’s soccer career, whether it be playing in Mississippi or coaching in Missouri.
Groomsman
Kyle Scott
Scott met Kyle in college during orientation week. Both residents of the same dorm floor, Scott would frequent his dorm over the course of freshman year. The two were roommates the rest of college, and Scott successfully turned Kyle into a soccer fan. The two remain committed to commiserating over the Miami Hurricanes’ athletic failures.
Groomsman
Ray McCurrie
Where to begin with Ray. Scott also met Ray freshman year at Miami, and the two became fast friends over the years at Miami while sharing an apartment with Scott, Kyle, and Chase. Selfless and stubborn to a fault, Ray remains a loyal friend and consistent source of comedic relief when needed most.
Paul and Scott go way back all the way to elementary school when Scott’s school played Paul’s in U-8 rec soccer.. When Paul transferred to Orangewood in 8th grade, the two immediately became close friends, and friends with the Diaz family. Paul and Scott still catch up just as they did all those years ago, playing the sport that facilitated that initial interaction.
Groomsman
Paul Diaz
Scott first met James playing pickup soccer at the IM fields at Miami, where Scott immediately noticed that James’s skills could be used on his team. In 2018, James finally caved and joined the Miami Club Soccer team, and their friendship continued as they both stayed in Miami for graduate school. James is perhaps the only person who enjoys Krispy Kreme donuts as much as Scott.
Groomsman
james Lai
Lee is Eva’s younger brother. Scott and Lee first became close while spending time at the Parker home in Orlando, but have grown closer since 2025, when Lee moved to Nashville for his job. The three regularly get dinner and spend time at one another’s homes. After 23 years of being the only boy in the Parker family, Lee is thrilled to be inheriting a brother-in-law in Scott.
